Waynes Believes in Giving Back

During this time of year, our thoughts often turn to gift-giving to our friends and family and spending time with our loved ones. In the spirit of this giving season, we have a very important question for you: Do you make it your life’s mission to give back? Do you get that warm and fuzzy feeling when you help someone in need? Do you, in your heart of hearts, believe that it is imperative to help others better their lives in some way or another?

Well, at Waynes, we definitely answer “yes” to all of those questions! We believe that providing excellent home services is only a tiny part of who we are as a company. At our innermost core, we are a company with a heart! We take great pride in all our philanthropic endeavors, including our work in LifelineAltar 84, and Ninos de la Luz, wonderful charities that care for our world’s orphaned and completely disadvantaged children by endowing them with the knowledge of the love of Jesus Christ through important emotional, financial, and spiritual resources. We are most proud of our annual trip to the Dominican Republic through Lifeline’s (un)adopted® program. While there, we strive to serve the community by helping them become more self-sustainable while simultaneously teaching the children about the soil and helping them develop vital skill sets to better themselves and their local community. We also take great pride in our continued participation and support of Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the United States and in more than 70 countries around the world to provide decent housing at an affordable mortgage rate for people who would otherwise have poor or unsafe housing, and our continual support of the Susan G. Komen foundation, which funds vital research on breast cancer and provides financial and educational resources to the financially disenfranchised women and men that this disease affects.

Waynes is proud that we can give back to the world we all inhabit together because we know that giving back grows the self. If you are interested in growing your emotional and spiritual self, join our team of passionate employees who feel the same way that you do!
