Meet the Women of Waynes & Their Real-Life Bug Story!

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we want to introduce you to the Women of Waynes, well some of them! If we showcased each of the amazing wonder women of Waynes, we would break the internet, so here are just a few of the invaluable women who make the daily operations at Waynes run smoothly.

Each of these ladies has a life outside of their job here Waynes, whether it is being a mother, wife, caretaker, or friend, they juggle the world of work and personal with integrity, courage, perseverance, and character.

Pam McGoogan| 26 years

Waynes 1st female Field Professional

Most proud that her route is a well-organized machine and that in 26 years, there has never been a month that Pam didn’t have 100% completion in her route allowing her to help her fellow Team Members finish their routes. She has also never called into work sick in 26 years.

She takes care of her routes and customer balances. I am my business, “if they don’t pay, Pam don’t spray”

She is all of 4’11 and full of fury & also has a heart of gold!

Pam is inspired by the connection at Waynes. There is always guidance and support, whether it be helping you to run your route efficiently, offering financial and spiritual guidance – anything you need, somebody is willing to help you and support you not only in your work life but your personal life as well. Always trying to make you a better person both professionally and personally. “It’s just a cool place to work, can’t imagine being anywhere else, this is home”

Michele Mayton | 14 years this July

“I love taking care of people and that is exactly what my role is now. I have the privilege and honor to work alongside each of these groups daily on projects big and small!”

Michele joined the Waynes Customer Experience Team in 2003! Since then she has worked in supporting and serving Waynes Lawn, Pest, Landscape, and Home Services (there isn’t much she doesn’t know)! In 2009 she became Waynes first Admin Coordinator, training 3 others for the position. In 2011 Waynes Landscape Services was born; Michele played a key role in developing their procedures. In 2013, she became a Closing Coordinator & Builder Relations Specialist for the Birmingham and Gulf Coast markets. She currently serves as a CET for the Waynes Home Services team and Admin for Key7 MS Fleet, Facility, Safety, and Technology. Michele never lets a ball drop and keeps the many processes flowing smoothly.

Tifanie Hutto | 10 years

“I give 100% to my job and try to help others as needed. We are a team and always try to lift each other up.”

Tifanie has served as a Waynes Closing Coordinator for the Huntsville and Nashville markets. Not knowing anything about Waynes, she took a leap of faith and applied for a position as a Customer Service Representative. After interviewing and being offered the job, she accepted! She started February 16th, 2009 and reports, “It was the best decision I ever made. I have made some pretty awesome friends here and absolutely love my job!” The fast-paced nature of the job requires Tifanie to be quick and organized to meet the many deadlines for the numerous builders she interacts with daily. She executes her daily list of responsibilities flawlessly and is always encouraging her teammates throughout the day!

Jenny Hickey | 5 years this April

“It is so exciting for me to get to celebrate others! Here we have so many opportunities for personal and professional growth. The environment here is encouraging and I get to be a part of a great team!”

Jenny started as a Team Member on the Customer Experience Team in April of 2014, “when I started here, I was stuck and had no vision for my future. Through the opportunities here with Dream4 and the encouragement of my supervisors, I was able to take steps towards becoming the best me I can be! And now I am passionate about personal growth and encouraging others to have the courage to get out of the rut.” She flourished in her role and quickly became an Executive Assistant and a Member of the People Matter Team! She takes on the daily challenge of coordinating the schedule of our CEO, company projects and events, and organizing opportunities for others to experience the gift of giving outside of themselves with our mission projects. She drives home our message of YOU Matter every day to our Team Members!

Lydia Pressnell | 4 years

“Waynes truly wants you to find and follow your dreams whether that is with Waynes or another organization. I cannot think of many organizations that foster this attitude.”

Lydia joined the team after being referred by one of our Lawn Team Members, Shawn! She serves as a Closing Coordinator in our Huntsville market scheduling and processing termite inspections for home closings, “I enjoy the daily routine of my role. I am also motivated by other team members to be the best I can be. I do not want to let anyone down. I enjoy helping others and am encouraged by other team members to continue growing and improving.” She loves playing a role in helping our customers have a successful closing on their dream home.

Lisa Bullock | 3.5 years

“If you want it, you can have it and don’t let anyone stop you. I have always wanted to own my own business. In the last year, I have done just that.”

Lisa joined the team as a Waynes Customer Experience Team Member. She has always had a passion for helping others and Waynes was a perfect fit, “I love my customers and love helping them and making their day better by insuring them that I will get them taken care of. Wayne’s allows me to that by backing me in everything that I do. They motivate you and inspire you to be a better person and they are always there for you no matter what.” Lisa’s story doesn’t stop there, “Waynes has shown me that you can do anything you set your mind to and if you need help along the way they are always willing to help you achieve whatever it is you want to do…I have always wanted to own my own business. In the last year, I have done just that. I started a new business and Waynes has encouraged me every step of the way. I am thankful for all my Wayne’s Family and the trust they put in me. I will continue to serve with Waynes!”
