Boost Your Home’s Curb Appeal this Winter
There are more than just evergreens that keep their color over these cold winter months. Certain plants have colorful blooms, foliage, and berries that will stand up to the humid cold in the southeast.
Plant selection, design, installation, and maintenance of your home or commercial property is hard work. The team of Waynes Landscape Experts is ready to help free up your time for things that really matter this holiday season: friends, family, passions, dreams. Give them a call at 866-WAYNES-1.
Preparation and Planting
Bed preparation begins with the removal of all old, dead plants, including their roots, and old mulch. Many annual and perennial flowers have trouble with root diseases brought on by poorly drained soil, so eliminate that issue by adding compost and mulched leaves to improve elevation and drainage. Plant the new additions according to their specific instructions. Lastly, add new mulch to protect plants and soil from cold temperatures.
